Hello and welcome! My name is Svetlana Morbini (Lana for short). I'm an artist and a fashion designer based in London. Having lived and studied in Brazil before moving to London, I fell in love with colours and botanical diversity while immersing myself in Brazil’s rich natural landscapes. The art of noticing the beauty around us - even in the tiniest details of nature - is the foundation of my creations. The change of scenery after moving to London has added diversity to my work, from bold and vibrant tropicals to elegant and fragrant British gardens. My artistic journey began in fashion design, where I discovered the power of patterns and textures to communicate mood and identity. Over time, my work evolved into a multidisciplinary practice. Navigating between fashion and art, I see how one enriches the other, elevating our daily life through printed patterns applied to fabrics and packaging to playful impasto flowers that extend beyond the canvas, appearing on t-shirts and tote bags. I believe in ‘the art of the invisible’—capturing the essence of things beyond the physical, from emotions to vibrations, and translating them into visual harmony. This philosophy is at the heart of every project I take on, whether designing bespoke illustrations for premium brands or creating captivating editorial artwork. My work has been inspired by beautiful parks and gardens as well as the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary fashion. I envision my art not just as decoration but as an experience—something that connects, uplifts and tells a story. |
