A fresh spin on fashion illustration.
Meet Mr. Capybara—a stylish game-changer with a personality as bold as his looks. He’s here to show that fashion is for everyone, no matter the body type, blurring the lines between real life and cartoons while keeping it effortlessly cool.

Blurring the boundaries between the digital and real worlds.

Alongside my fashion illustration practice, I'm the creator behind Mr. Capybara, a playful fashion character who collides real fashion trends with a cartoon universe. What started as a lockdown project from the desire to show the best bits of London without leaving the house later turned into an independent content creation project. Mr Capybara is a hand-drawn fictional character inspired by a charming rodent I loved to observe while living in the South of Brazil. Famous for their chill nature, capybaras are perfect reminders of embracing your true self and being present. Encouraged by friends and family, I began developing the character, blending my passions for fashion, travel, and the unique perspective of life as an artist in a new country. Today, Mr. Capybara represents a lighthearted take on fashion illustration, showcasing a fresh perspective on content creation and storytelling. The project explores what fashion illustration can do beyond the runway: create mascots, narratives, and cultural commentary.
